Empty Nesters

Is your nest finally empty?  Do you have some spare time to have fun?
Empty Nesters is a group for women. We either don't have children or ours have already graduated from high school.  When you are new to the area and you do not have children at home, it is sometimes harder to meet new people. Our group has been considered a 'life saver' to many empty nesters who have moved to The Andovers.

Meets third Thursday of every month at 10:00am
Socialize and plan upcoming activities.

Book club - Bunco - Potluck Dinners - Women's Discussion - Specialty Tea Group - Couples Dinners - Museum Trips - Art Shows - And more!

The Empty Nesters will welcome Sally Matson, an Andover resident, at their April 17th Coffee at ten o’clock at the parish hall of Saint Augustine’s. Sally bills herself as an actor/educator whose programs have brought her wide acclaim in New England. To quote a recent testimonial – What a huge success! Thanks for a great night ... inspiring, educational and fun.”

Sally will present her latest program, Margaret Bourke-White, Courageous Photographer . Bourke-White was a ground-breaking photographer from the 1930s to the 1950s. The presentation in which Ms Matson will portray the photographer is bound to be both entertaining and informative. The program is about forty-five minutes in length, followed by a question and answer period. Coffee and light refreshments will be served prior to the presentation.

The Empty Nesters would like to invite any member of Newcomers and Neighbors to join us that morning for what promises to be a most enjoyable time spent with “Ms White”. You may rsvp to Ginny Bornholdt, President of Empty Nesters, at by April 15th.

Also, the Empty Nesters will be setting up a CPR training course in May. More to come on that next month.

The Empty Nesters meet at 10:00 AM
